Sad but true, we all spend money on products that we regret. Here are a few of my impulse (and some not so impulse) buys that I regret. What are yours?

Top Three EyeLiners
This week I have been on the look out for the best eyeliner, one that stays put without smudging & running as well as creating a soft but defined finish.
There were three definte top products out there that came up trumps in recent polls carried out, in first place was Mary Kay Eyeliner (£9.75) with most users voting it as their favourite product, it has a creamy formula that makes it easy to apply with a soft finish & is also waterproof which is defintely a huge plus! In second place is Mac Eye Kohl Pencils (£11), the favourite shade being in Smoulder (black), the colour is easy & smooth to apply with a light pearl finish, also long lasting. Finally in third place of the top eyeliners is Maybelline's Expert Eyes (£4.99), again the pencils were soft & easy to use with the finish lasting really well too.

New Spring Trends for 2008 - White Eyeliner & Highlighter

Back in trend this spring is White Eyeliner which is great news for all those tired post party eyes!!!!
An easy trick to master, it makes your eyes appear wider, brighter & more awake with an added sparkle!
The best way to apply this is to the inner rim of your bottom lash line (inside your lower lid), it reflects light really opening up the eye as well as brightening the whites of your eyes too. To get this look go for Mac's Eye Kohl in Fascinating (£11).
Also to really get those eyes shimmering this year use a little highlighter in the inner corners, it will draw light into this area, opening up the eye & giving a more youthful appearance, try Mac's eye shadow in 'Phloof' (£10)

Another big trend for spring 2008 is highlighter which gives a fresh glow to the skin, simply use alone without make-up for a natural dewy look. Apply to the upper part of your cheek bone (just below the eye), take it right up to the brow bone & for some extra definition apply some along the bridge of your nose.
Try Maybelline's Dream Mouse Shimmer, it's really easy to apply & comes in 2 shades - Champagne or Porcelain (£5.99)
