RONALDO ARNALDO: REIGN SUPREME- Philippine Fashion Week S/S 2011

Ronaldo Arnaldo's Spring/ Summer  collection at the Philippine Fashion Week 2011 was like early morning breeze with blooming freshness of flowers in spring . The delicate fabrics done in minimalist designs provided that sexy feminine look to his collection.
As Arnaldo's signature, he  included dash of  other colors like yellows, reds and cobalt blues. The models took over the ramp with his mesmerizing feminine collection comprising of simple dresses in white with contemporary cuts and insertions of stripes.
Wearable and clean, the stunning designer pieces of  floaty dresses with trendy long skirts, provided the feeling of quite glamor, this designer emphasized heavily on the comfort factor of the garments.
Ronaldo Arnaldo is well known for his simple yet attractive clothing lines which are high on value and seductive quotient. Unlike other designers he preferred his garments to hang comfortably around the body instead of body hugging/tight fitting clothes. He used free flowing fabrics like crisp cotton, light translucent linens and stripe satin duchess.
Stunning silhouette, long lean white skirt with tails, slide neckline  blouses, deep shoveled armholes, low back and front necklines, were some types of garments he presented. In evening wear he glamorized the A-line tubular silhouettes with matte stones as arm blings. The ranges of colors choosed by him for his collection were grey, black, pale yellow, red and white, thus the colors were also sober and subtle.
Arnaldo's maturity in high tailoring and mastery in controlled silhouettes separates him from neophytes, wannabes, newbies and mere tailors.

The Latest Bloodcurdling Anti-Ageing Beauty Treatment!!!

Just in time for Halloween, Wahanda introduce a real taste of vampire vitality - DRACULA THERAPY! Also known as S3, Dracula Therapy is the hottest news in anti-ageing – a spine-tingling treatment which involves having your face injected with your own blood to keep you looking young and fresh of face!
The S3 name is short for Stimulated Self Serum skin therapy. During the treatment, a doctor draws vessels of your own blood from your arm through a special machine, then separates the red blood cells from the fluid (plasma and white blood cells). After vitamins and amino acids have been added into the plasma, the enriched serum is injected into your face, targeting any problem areas.
What’s more, the treatment leaves little or no marks, banishing fine lines and leaving you with plump, glowing skin…Dracula Therapy also stimulates DNA repair which helps to erase scars and speed up skin regeneration, and the vitamin boost spurs on DNA production leaving you glowing with health! As creepy as it may seem, S3 therapy is not a new theory - doctors have used the process for over 20 years to help athletes heal quicker and to help treat receding gums.
With only one location in the UK where this cutting edge treatment is available through Wahanda, be sure to try it out before it really hits the headlines in a big way! Wahanda has exclusive offers available for the spa’s, wellness centre’s, gym’s and fitness centres that you won’t find anywhere else in addition to Beauty and Spa Gift Vouchers, which are redeemable at over 500 destinations nationwide.

NARS Primer Review

I hate it. I do. I really, really hate it. I am always looking for the next best thing so, after I ditched my Smashbox primer, which I also hated, I ventured into Sephora and found a new primer to play with. I found that the NARS Primer did nothing, absolutely nothing. It did not make my make up last longer. It does not make my make up go on smoother. It did not even have a nice texture, like Smashbox Photo Finish primer did. I generally like to look decent by the end of the day and unfortunately, NARS did not help me achieve this goal. Do not get me wrong, I love NARS. I swear by their blush, lip gloss and lipstick. I have also tried their eyeshadow, which is not bad, but I cannot bring myself to buy any other eyeshadow except Mac’s. I really wanted to love this, because I do really love NARS. On to the next!

ATTENTION!!!!! (CLOSED)

The contest has been extended! I have been LOVING the entries and want to see MORE!!! My husband enlightened me that most everyone's parties will be this weekend and you may need more time so the contest has a NEW DEADLINE!!!!! The date that I now need ALL entries in by is NOVEMBER 5th and I will announce the winner on the 6th. I've been SO busy but I am going out in like FIVE min to get the prize from Sephora and I'll announce it later today...PROMISE!!!! Start planning your entries if you haven't already and I'll talk to you later today, BYE!!!

New Work - String Magazine

Hey guys! A new editorial in String Magazine features my work with photographer Zenaida Kwong. The stylist Joanna Kulpa did an amazing job matching the wardrobe to the mood and setting of the location. The feel was strong lines, intensity and a masculine touch. Makeup & hair by me.

ESSA's OH SAUVAGE COUTURE 2011

Reviewing the works of ESSA is like reading poetry in 3D, full of emotion and angst that translates into his design palette, defying definition and stereotyping. His flamboyant collection undeneath, are the clues about his brilliant madness..how he thinks and works.

Arrogant. Rebellious. Eccentric.

ESSA'S signature looks surprisingly find their sources in his personal nuances, while the interpretation is seen more in his ability on precise crafting, his inspiration stems from his style connect with his Indian roots' diversity and his contemporary style chaos in Dubai. His label, was born and was instantly sourced by high end stores like SAUCE*.

ESSA's traditional and contemporary reference is inherent to its ethos. His inextricable link of sleek and structure define ESSA's inherent sensibility. That, his art is beyond the physical. That its sensibilities in something more unreachable and inscrutable, the mystique of which is known only to him...

ESSA's aesthetics come from his passion and his creative unconventional mind, radical and a sweeping statement. He has this gift, his languid ability to transform mere fabrics to amazing designs, taking it to a whole new level. His irresistible visuals sizzle the mind, very textural , sensual and experimental. He put humor into his clothes, he makes ordinary things seems extraordinary.

Essa's " Oh Sauvage "Collection at WHO'S NEXT IN DUBAI Fashion Event 2010 was his global travel, his Amazonian chic with Parisian flair , a boho-hippie collage in color riots.

The brightness of Brazilian green, fuchsia , orange and cobalt blue mix with leopard print and zebra, with playfulness of laces at hemlines make spring delightful.

ESSA's fun with monkeys hanging on faux fur bags are the season's must have . His croc's Swarovski stone encrusted neck pieces, huge ear elephant pendant and glittery snake brooches are highly covetable pieces.

The collage of bright colored patchworks of fur pieces made into a fabulous trench coat is best way how to describe ESSA: SIMPLY COLORFUL !!!!!!!
