Elizabeth Taylor Tribute

 Elizabeth Taylor was such an icon. In the movies she was on point and direct and with makeup (in her earlier years) I felt she was one of the greats! I felt it was time I did a tribute to the look and feel of this Hollywood starlet. Here is my take on her look in general, not from any one picture but I thought I'd put up a few that would demonstrate her rich beauty. I think it took me a while to pay homage to her because for the longest time she left a bad taste in my mouth. She was lovely but unfortunately stole a few husbands in her day. I LOVE Debbie Reynolds and Liz took her hubby = (...look at me talking about them as if I know them! =) Anyway, I loved her look, at least, and wanted to give my interpretation of all the little details that made up Elizabeth's face. I hope you like it!

Another J-Lo look but you knew this was coming =). I wanted my first look from this pallette to be her and I LOVE this look but H.A.T.E my camera and how it isn't HD. It doesn't pick up the colors like I would like and I am SO in the market for another!!!

Purple Sunrise (Sariah's Look)

A friend came down to stay with us this weekend and wanted to get new shadows. Being new to the area I had to Map Quest the nearest mall and off we went while the hubbies stayed home with the kiddies. BOY could you tell it was a Saturday. The MAC counter was PaCkEd and leaking out into the walkway to do makeovers. She ended up picking up Fig 1 and Golden Rod, two BeAuTiFuL colors (insert me drooling)!!! She asked me to do a look with them and this is what I came up with. SO much fun!!!

Christmas Is Coming!!!

So, being married, I know that sometimes our husbands need a little help with what we may want. I know sometimes my hubby gets this panicked look near Christmas Eve and asks for some "alone" time. Out he whisks to the store, frantically calling my mother and all of my friends. I think he's learned, somewhat, that to start earlier in the month is goooooooood....say it with me hunny....gooooooooood!!!! For basic makeup needs I enlisted that same darling husband to help design this Christmas list. These are things that I would ask for if I were just starting out. LoVeD doing this look!!!! I spray tanned....not that you can tell with my lovely computer, and wa able to bust out my NW 25!!!! It made me so happy =). I want a "perma-tan" like NObodies business!!! LOVE this look!!! It makes me want to grab hot cocoa, my hunny and sit by the fire. It just seemed like an understate sexy look. Made me feel pretty darn cute too when my hubby couldn't stop looking at me, hugging or wanting to cuddle....YAY I MAY STILL HAVE IT LADIES!!!!!!! LOL

So glad that I was FiNaLlY able to get to this request. (Singing voice) I looooovvvveeee Lauren Conraaaaad!!!!!! I think she is so stinkin cute and very down to Earth. Her makeup is very simple but the liner can sometimes be tricky and just comes with practice. I'll do another one that isn't so typical of her that I've found. Meaning her makeup wasn't just natural with winged liner...cooomin up!
