I have gotten quite a few requests for this look and it was about time to do it. I haven't seen the movie but I hear it is visually stunning and worth it. Have you seen it? Was it any good? Well, this little chica was the most understated as far as makeup was concerned out of all of them. I remember her from A Series Of Unfortunate Events and RARELY do I think that someone who has dark hair naturally looks better blond. Gwen Stefani is one and now this girl is another. I LOVE it!!! I am for sure a fan of the glowing skin and the pink cheeks. Overall, one of my fav looks and I might just do the hair thing again = D. Enjoy!!!

Jennifer Lopez Tutorial

Okay, okay I'm listening! = )You asked for more Jennifer and here she is! Lopez really lights up the (whatever color) carpet with this look. Her makeup artist is very in tune with what looks flawless on her skin. The hint of purple in the crease compliments her eyes and the soft orange right above that compliments her skin. LoVeD doing this look!!!! I spray tanned....not that you can tell with my lovely computer, and wa able to bust out my NW 25!!!! It made me so happy =). I want a "perma-tan" like NObodies business!!! Hot Pink Tutorial

So I KNOW this one isn't my best work as far as camera savyness. It is blurry but I can't help but LOVE that it actually shows the true COLOR!!!! SO, what I am thinking is I will practice a bunch, get better and I can still use the camera for close ups. Sorry about the blurry but hope you love the pinks, I do =).

A daily look

Hi! I'm new around here. My name is Monica Giles. I am a wife to one, mother of three, a hair stylist, lover of all things stylish and good friend of the awesome starter of this blog. I have no idea if anyone will read my posts or watch my tutorials but I'll be doing them once in a while anyway. It's kind of a fun way to spice up my life. A little creative outlet, if you will.

My first tutorial is my daily routine starting with my fave self tanner and ending with lipstick. It's a day look, so on the lighter side. Oh the editing has room for improvement but I'll work on it, I promise.

I'm sorry...Did I Forget To MENTION???????

I got my 88 color PALETTE!!!!!!! How could I not have announced this, sung it's praises, done a tutorial????? Well the below picture is a result of using this wonderful palette and I am quite pleased. I for SURE recommend using a primer still, though the quality is far better than drugstore purchases. I used the oranges and browns today and can't WAIT to do purples and pinks for a more smoked out "punk" look. The ONLY thing I have to say and let me please note that this is not said in disappointment......they are really smaaaaaaaaall. I actually laughed when I opened them cuz they were so miniature and cute. My pygmy eye shadows as it were =). Aaaaanyhooooo, here is to fun with more upcoming tutorials and new products, products PRODUCTS!!!!!!

Codi Codi Codi Has Done It Again =)

After seeing the tutorial on Rihanna, Codi turned up the heat and did it herself.....HOT girl, that's all I have to say!!!!!

This is a request but has SO much more in it!!!!! Not only do I do my take on the Rihanna PEOPLE cover but I also teach about cheekbones for those of you wanting them =) and false eyelash application. I LoVe this look and am VERY pleased with how it all came together. I did forget to record the fact that I used Vanilla as my brow bone color, oops!!!
