Make Up For Ever Bronze Make Up Collection Spring 2010

Make Up For Ever founder and chief makeup director Dany Sanz plays with the most beautiful gold colors in the world to create the Bronze Makeup Collection for spring. Dany creates the portrait of a sexy woman with a touch of nobility, filled with pure gold, glossy colors and brilliant dazzling jewelry, thick black curly hair. Dany also introduces a new product: Gold Glitter Powder (2 g), 100% pure natural mineral powder. This collection will be available January 28.
Glitter Powder is the Kohl pencil.
Available in 2 shades and with a soft texture this Kohl can be used as an eyeshadow because it’s very blendable. It was tested for women with sensitive skin, so you don’t have to worry about any side effects.

The Crystal Diamond Glitter Powder (2.8 g) contains ultra-fine pearl particles. It can be applied on your eyes, face and body for a shiny effect.

You can create a metal makeup effect combining the Gold Glitter Powder almost with anything: foundation, face powder, lipgloss, lipstick, lotion or hair gel. You can apply it on your eyes, cheeks or any other part of the body to create a dazzling effect.

Questions from You Answered

Hi Eman!
I'm wanting to try MUFE foundations. Unfortunately where i live they dont sell it in my particular state. However, the only way i can get it is online. In which is much harder as i'm not sure of the colour range and what is best suited. What do you recommend being a makeup artist yourself? and also what summer foundations/tinted moisturisers would you suggest? it'll be summer here next month and so what are your best summer recommendations for me? I'm not a heavy foundation user i just need something to even out my skin tone.

The MUFE foundation I suggest is the HD Foundation. Its a medium coverage foundation so its not too heavy and it gives really great coverage while looking natural. For summer, I suggest the Face & Body foundation. It is a very light foundation so it wont feel heavy in the heat. Plus its waterproof so its perfect if you go to the beach.

Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes Makeup Remover

One thing I hate is taking my makeup off. Especially if I have a lot of eye makeup on - it can take forever to get all of it off so I can avoid waking up the next morning with racoon eyes.

When I started using this product I FELL IN LOVE. The Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes makeup remover takes EVERYTHING off so easily. It's so effective, one wipe takes so much product off so there's no rubbing.

It's a gel so it feels incredibly gentle on the skin and doesn't irritate your eyes at all even if you wear contacts. It doesn't leave your eyelids feeling greasy. Plus it takes off all waterproof makeup.

This is the best makeup remover I've ever used. It's great for people with sensitive skin. And if you're a heavy makeup wearer like I am....this is a must have.

Questions from You Answered

Hi Eman,

I am a very big fan. What i wanted to ask u is what is the best non water proof mascara for dramatic dark blackest black thicker lashes cuz i dont like using fake lashes or lash extensions for that matter, also if u know a good way to take care of my eyelashes and make then healthy and keep them that way, thank u so much for ur helpful tips.

My favorite non waterprooof mascara is the Smoky Lash mascara by Make Up For Ever. It gives you nice thick lashes. You can put on so many layers and it never looks clumpy. Plus it extra black. The best way to take care of your lashes is to remove all your eye makeup every night using a gently makeup remover.

Flawless Finish: Primer

I am a true believer in using primer. It is not necessity, but it is great for special occasions or long nights. It allows you to obtain a flawless finish that lasts. Primers are not only just for grasping onto make up, many brands offer color-correcting formulas, such as green formulas that counteract redness, apricot hues help with dark spots and other annoying flaws and lavender that help with natural yellow undertones. Make Up For Ever and Smashbox (shown above) both offer different hues for different issues.

For those of you who require a heavy duty mattifier that's ideal for smoothing scars, wrinkles or large pores, try silicone based primers. Below is an excellent one by Benefit called Dr. Feel Good.

If you have normal to oily skin, your best bet is to go with something that is lightweight. Try a gel based primer such as Nars Make Up Primer shown below.

Make Up For Ever Microperfecting Primer

I have been testing out Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer all week now and I think it’s an amazing product. My last primer was awful. It made my skin super dry and flaky. I absolutely hated it. Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer actually moisturizes my skin and leaves it feeling super soft and smooth. But, before I was ready to make it a staple in my makeup bag, I had to put it through some rigorous tests. The first was to see if it dried out my skin, which it did not. Next, I had to make sure that it actually held on to my makeup for the entire day. It passed with flying colours. I usually do my make up at about 7:30 am and by the time I get home around 6 pm, it’s is pretty much all gone. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home, looked in the mirror and did not shudder at the reflection. My makeup was still on, and it was almost as fresh as it had been when I first applied. I slowly started to fall in love. But, I was not done yet. I decided to see how well it would hold up after an even longer day. Same routine, I applied at 7:30 AM, went about my business and got home at about 10 PM that night and would you believe if I told you, my make up still looked great? Well believe it! It did! How have I ever lived without this product? You would think that I would be completely sold by now, but I was not done. I had one more test. I decided to see how it would hold up after a work out. Now, I am not one of the girls that glams up before going to the gym, but if I have makeup on, I don’t go out of my way to take it off. So, I jumped on the elliptical, make up looking fab and all, and worked out for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes had elapsed, I took a good look in the mirror…my face was still pretty flawless, and my cheeks still bronzed and blushing…Ladies, we have a winner. This product is also oil - free and it comes in six colour correcting shades and one transparent shade. If Make up For Ever discontinues this product while I am living and breathing, all hell will break loose.

Make Up For Ever Waterproof Concealer

My girlfriend Sarah first told me about Make Up For Ever's Full Coverage Concealer so, I decided to check it out. I was in the market for a full coverage concealer. To be honest, the concealer that I had been using wasn't cutting it and I was sick and tired of coming home at the end of the day and being frightened by my own reflection. I decided to take a trip to Sephora to fix my issue. I asked the girl to recommend the best full coverage concealer with great staying power. She as well recommended Make Up For Ever's Full Coverage Concealer. As a bonus, it is waterproof and that means amazing staying power. Waterproof concealer is the best thing that I have heard of in a very long time! Needless to say, I am happy I took the advice of the Sephora sales girl and my girlie! Love!

Look At Me Lashes!

Flash lashes are all the rage at the moment. Make Up For Ever has a range of fifty plus lashes for you to choose from. Whether you want a natural, dramatic or colorful and sparkly look, they have what you need. This line of flash lashes is only available at Sephora and every single time I have gone in to take a look at them they have been pretty low in stock because of their extreme popularity. The only advice that I have is to make sure that you have applied them properly so that you do not run the risk of having them fall out and also choose your lashes wisely.
If you are not the Make Up For Ever type of girl, try MAC’s line of flash lashes. They are just as fabulous.
