My take...

I love it! As a primer, I think it is amazing. It lengthens my lashes and boosts volume. I use it right before I apply my regular mascara which is Maybelline Colossal Lash (love!) and I get long, lush lashes! However, I don't use it everyday to be able to comment on whether or not it is a good lash conditioner. From what I have heard from others, it seems work great as well. The best part is the price! Other lash conditioners are about $60 and up, but Dior's is approximately $30, which is the average price of a Dior mascara.

Nars is set to release a new collection of limited edition lip glosses based on five of their most popular blushes: Albatross, a luminous shimmer, Angelika, a cotton candy pink, Oasis, a sparkling pink champagne, Super Orgasm, a peachy pink shimmer, and Luster, a sheer golden Apricot. Ocean Love Potion Sephora by OPI & Essie's Matte About You

Two weeks ago, I got really bored at work and started messing up my manicure. I peeled off all of my nail polish and of course regretted it right off the bat. I hate not having nail polish on. After my destructive behaviour had passed I started thinking about what colour to re-paint them with. Of course, all of my options did not please me in anyway. I decided that I needed a new colour and started my journey off to Sephora. Upon my arrival, I noticed a lot of greens and blues, shades I hadn’t tried since the sixth grade. I opted for a shade called Ocean Love Potion by OPI for Sephora. It’s a limited edition shade and it is uber cute! The swatch below is exactly what I looks like on.

It’s a great shade for fingers and toes.

Now let’s move from OPI to Essie. Essie has created a mattifying finisher called Matte about You. This top coat will take the shine out of any nail colour and you leave you with a perfect matte finish. If you are totally over shiny nails then this is for you.

Lancôme Hypnose Drama & Ôscillation Powerbooster

Lancôme is amazing when it comes to cosmetics. I especially like their mascaras. My favorite mascara by Lancôme has got to be Hypnose. It is just simply amazing. Needless to say, I am extremely excited to announce that they are releasing Hypnose Drama. Ekk, I can’t wait to try it. Hypnose Drama is supposed to give more volume then the regular Hypnose. It comes with an s-shaped brush that grabs your lashes and fans them out, giving them extreme volume for dramatic results. It has pro-vitamin B5 and stays on longer and better than most mascara brands but comes off nice and easy at night. The second this hits the shelves, it is mine.


That’s not it for Lancôme ladies. Your primer just got vibrating power. Lancôme is releasing the first vibrating primer to help boost the look of your natural lashes. Ôscillation Powerbooster contains Crescentia™ complex, which is a conditioning formula that improves the strength of your lashes. Apply it under your mascara and see the difference. I have been using their Cil Booster XL and I can see a difference in my lashes when I wear it under my regular mascara. Can’t wait to try this!

Perfekt Beauty Perfection Gel

I got a lot of wonderful presents for my birthday this year. One of my gifts included Perfekt Beauty’s Skin Perfection Gel to Go. My friend Sarah has been obsessing about this product for so long and wanted to me to try it. The texture of this product is amazing. It glides on effortlessly and it feels incredible. It is kind of like a low coverage concealer and foundation in one. It improves skin tone, reduces redness and helps minimize the appearance of large pores. It also contains antioxidants such as alpha lipoic acid and vitamins A & E to help protect your skin. I found it to be really moisturizing and I have extremely dry skin. It did give my skin a nice glow but because it does not cover it up as well as concealers and foundations you may have to go over it to gain a completely flawless look. This product is really great for summer time when you don’t want to have a ton of make up on. It is also sweat-resistant and water-resistant which is a huge plus. Perfekt Beauty’s Skin Perfection Gel is a bit on the pricy side so if you are unsure, try purchasing the smaller size to see if it is the right product for you. I love it so much just because of the texture and how soft it makes my skin feel, I may have to purchase the large size…

Perfect Match: Bronzer & Blush

Here are few tips for applying bronzer and blush. Always apply bronzer first, wherever the sun would naturally hit. Try applying on your forehead, nose and chin, when using powder. If you prefer gel bronzers, apply to your entire face. After you have applied bronzer, dust on blush on the apples of your cheeks. Bronzer and blush are a perfect combination; bronzer gives your face an entire glow and blush brightens you up.

Bronzed & Beautiful

First off, let me start by saying, I feel like I am in rehab. I am on a business trip in Vermont and I am going through some serious shopping withdrawal. I shop everyday. Every single day, I make some sort of purchase. I have a problem. It's an issue, but I am not going to do anything to change it. No point in lying, right? I currently have a break from meetings and I am lounging in my hotel room, listening to music and flipping through magazines making a list of things that I plan on purchasing on Friday upon my sweet return to Toronto. I miss walking down Queen Street West! I miss knowing that there is a Sephora and MAC Cosmetics close by. I have no idea if either of my two loves are close to my hotel....there is something very unsettling about that...All I know is that there is a Ben & Jerry's factory close by.... I love Ben & Jerry's...Cherry Garcia...yum! Okay, enough about ice cream...I digress...my original point for this post was to talk about bronzers! I have packed enough clothing to last me about 10 days...my trip is only four days long...This morning I noticed that I only brought one pair of pants and a large selection of skirts. I am not the best packer, obviously. The pants I wore yesterday, so today I was stuck wearing a skirt, which is fine, don't get me wrong. I love skirts. I actually prefer them over pants. What I don't love is pale legs! Luckily, being the girly girl that I am, I used Glow Fusion Natural Protein Tan over the weekend, and to my surprise my legs still look fabulous! If you don't know who Kat Von D is, you obviously don't watch enough television. Kat Von D is a famed tattoo artist, who recently released a make up line exclusively sold at Sephora. Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer caught my eye because of the following photos that I found on Beauty & The Blog...

Linsday Lohan has teamed up with tanning expert Lorit Simon and created her very own tanning mist called Sevin Nyne, which is named after her two lucky numbers. Sensual Nude Lips

Nude lips are super trendy right now and suit most people. I personally love the nude lip and smokey seductive eyes. It is extremely sexy. Kim Kardashian rocks the look very well, but of course she has her make up done by the pros. After giggling to myself, I got back to reading Bazaar UK Edition, which has the best beauty section this month, when I realized, to my horror….that I was not wearing mascara! How do I forget to wear mascara?! How is that even possible?! I love mascara…I live for mascara…if mascara suddenly disappeared I would not be able to continue on….Luckily, I carry a tube with me at all times, along with a nice selection of lip gloss and a bunch of other essentials…The best part of the entire thing is that, I have been trying to make it a habit to curl my eyelashes and this morning I did! But I some how forgot to wear mascara….not eating breakfast is clearly not helping me function the way I should.

Sephora by OPI Cuticle Oil

I am a nail polish fanatic and my nails must always be done. Recently I began to notice that my cuticles we super dry. Of course, that irritated me beyond belief, but I wasn't surprised since I hadn't used my Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme in a long time. I like using it right before bed and waking up to perfect cuticles, but since I am so forgetful I haven't done my usual bedtime nail upkeep I decided that I needed something that I can keep in my make up and apply just about anywhere, and by anywhere I mean while I am at work, slacking off at my desk. So, last week I wandered into Sephora, like I usually do...and discovered Sephora by OPI Cuticle Oil. It's super handy! It is brush- on so it's fast and convenient. It contains a blend of five moisturizing oils and antioxidant Vitamin E. It also smells delicious which is a plus. I use it a few times a week and my cuticles look fab!
