This Season's Hottest Trend - Flushed Pink Cheeks

Bronzer is definitely out this season & Pink is officially the new 'it' colour, go for pretty pink flushed cheeks & you'll be right on trend! Pink has featured heavily all year & has been a very popular look but for autumn/winter it's the only way to go! Also honed & sculpted cheek bones are very hot so to achieve your flush of pink try a cream blusher to incorporate a sculpted finish. My two favourites for this are Cream Blush by Mac 'Brit Wit' & 'Posey', the first has a nice neutral rose tone that suits pretty much all skin tones. Start by applying it to the apples of your cheeks (soft fleshy part when you smile), dot it on lightly & then blend with your fingers across & just under your cheek bone, concentrate on the apple though to get that flushed youthful finish. For a bolder pink apply 'Posey' on top of 'Brit Wit' but focus it on the apple area & sofly blend it. Best blending tip is to take your middle finger & hold it slightly diagonally over your cheek & dab upwards along the cheek bone, use a make-up sponge to soften the edges to create a flawless finish. If you would prefer a powder to create your look then try out Bobbi Brown's 'Peony' a lovely pink that gives the perfect flush, just apply if with a large brush starting on the apple & blend across the cheeks.

DIY Celebrity Facial!!

Kate Somerville is one of LA's top facial experts, with an impressive celebrity clientelle her product range speaks for itself as an a-list quality brand! Just released in the UK it is creating quite a buzz & the 'ExfolioKate' Intensive Exfoliating Treatment is said to be the next best thing to actually seeing Kate herself in the salon! It is a clinical-strength exfoliant which decongests the skin and improves the complexion, the active fruit enzymes work to eliminate dead skin cells & give a healthy, rosy glow. A dramatic but safe exfoliation at home, basically a DIY A-List Celebrity Facial!! £75

Genie In A Bottle - Estee Lauder's Little Miracle!!!

Multi Award winning Estee Lauder's 'Night Repair Concentrate Recovery Boosting Treatment' (more than earns it's long-winded name!!), is definitely a must have, it guarantees a more even tone to the skin as well as a supple, smooth finish & a beautiful healthy glow, all within 21 days! It will also help to repair any damage to the skin (good for sun worshippers!!) by helping it to 'clean the slate of past visible damage' - Just what we want to hear!! I have been trying it out myself over the last few weeks & have to say I have been impressed with the results so far!! Grab one in Boots £39.99..

Fantasy Fairy Makeup

This is just whimsical fun =). My fav is seeing my youngest Branson in the background. He kept saying (with a confused look),"Um. you look (pause) pretty Mommy?" Yes it was in the form of a question LOL. I have to admit that I didn't love how the brown line underneath turned out but practice makes perfect right? =) Come with me to a land of fairies. If you want to blend in, you may want to try this look out....okay I'm a geek but ENJOY!!!
