SASS&BIDE: London Fashion Week 2011/" Sen-sassional Duo"

The Australian design duo, Sass&Bide, merged seamlessly marketable and design conscious collection at London Fashion Week 2011. Known for their signature fierceness, the feminine allure and excellently edited collection achieved creatively vendable  balance pieces.

The collection was inspired by an imaginary friend, ''Papa Sucre [French for Sugar Daddy], which includes
mini-dresses, jumpsuits and tops with loose-fitting pants in a palette of grey, cream, watermelon and metallic gold.

Digitally printed silks, fringing and ruffles were also key elements. Sass& Bide this season focuses on colour, print and taking embellishment into new territory with raffia and metal collars.

The ladies of Sass & Bide - Sara-Jane Clark and Heidi Middleton, have come a long way from selling customised jeans at London's Portobello Road markets more than a decade ago.

On Friday night the Aussie label,  was one of the hottest shows to kick off London Fashion Week.
