How I love Dior...next week Sephora will be releasing a limited edition Iconic Diva Set to Go. I cannot wait to get my hands on this. I LOVE DIOR! This set includes a full sized Diorshow Iconic Mascara in Noir and a mini Addict High Shine Lipstick in Catwalk Mauve and a mini Dior pouch. I am so excited. I have not tried Diorshow Iconic Mascara yet. I have tried Diorshow Mascara and Diorshow Black Out Mascara and I loved them both so I am sure that Diorshow Iconic Mascara will not disappoint me.

Last month I was left with no mascara and Lancôme had not release Ôscillation. I had been thinking about doing something that I had not done in a very long time...I purchased mascara from a drug store...This is something that is foreign to me, but I did it. I must say, I was not disappointed. I was compelled to buy Cover Girl Lash Blast, I think it was because Drew Barrymore did such a great job in the commercial. Oh, the power of advertising. Anyway, Lash Blast is great, It has a thick brush that lengthens, curls and separates. What more can a girl ask for? Oh, and it has a small price tag. So, the next time you don't feel like splurging on mascara try Cover Girl Lash Blast. I am sure you will like it as much as I do.

This product is amazing! I swear by it and I know others who do as well. Unfortunately, this item was one of the items that ran away along with my make up bag and the rest of it's contents. But, do not worry, I got another bottle less then 48 hours after the disappearance because I love it like cooked food. Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion is truly an item that every girl that wants sexy hair should own. Initially, a co -worker told me about it, and I spoke to one of the most gorgeous girl I know about it. She raved about so I knew it had to be good. It is FABULOUS. It thickens your hair up to 17% and it is organic! Pure Abundance Hair Potion goes from powder to lotion. You only need a little bit to acheive the look you want. If you do not already own this then I suggest you go and get it ASAP! You haven't had a good hair day until you use this.

Butter London

Recently a friend of mine told me about a new line of nail polish that she had seen. I decided to try it and of course, I was impressed. Butter London is a new line of non - toxic nail polish. They call themselves a "3 free Nail Lacquer", which means no formaldehyde, no toluene and no DBP. So, now when you get a manicure you don't have to worry about carcinogens. Not only are they non - toxic but they have a great line of colours that you can chose from and fun names that go along with each colour like, "Branwen's Feather" (my current favourite) and "HRH" which stands for "Her Royal Highness".

32 - The Most Beautiful Age!

The Daily Mail has reported today that many women feel most attractive in their early 30s, research reveals that four out of ten women feel at their most beautiful at the age of 32! The survey of British women aged between 40 and 60 found a fifth picked 40 as the age they felt happiest with their looks. 38 per cent said that they felt the most attractive in their early thirties & attributed this to confidence gained through experience, an healthy love life and diet.
So celebrities such Liv Tyler, pictured above, Sarah Michelle Geller & Sophie Dahl will be feeling pretty good about their 32 years in 2009!
Psychologist Dr Sandra Wheatley said the findings were a ‘very encouraging’ & added : ‘It sounds to me like women are becoming much more swayed by personality. It’s a sign that we are valued for who we are and what we are capable of, not just what is on the surface. Feeling beautiful is tied in with confidence and life experience. At 32, a woman has been through and survived more experiences and achieved more than at 22. Women can be their own worst enemy, scrutinising each other’s weight and wrinkles. But this is a really encouraging study that beauty is more than skin deep.'

Let's Talk Ravishing Red

Today I will be off replacing the things that went missing along with my make up bag. Fortunately, there is one piece that I do not have to replace, because when I first purchased it, I got two, just so I would have back up. I am so glad I did. I first fell in love with Diane von Furstenberg's Foreign Affair, in her adorable store in Paris. It is the most perfect shade of red that you will ever see. I had to have it, and that is why I purchased two rather than one. I believer every girl has to have a gorgeous shade of red in their make up bag. If you can't get your hands on Foreign Affair I have some other suggestions for you.

For darling Miss L and A we came up with some fierce looks for their 18th birthday parties. The theme was "Beauty and the Geek" where the girls were beautiful and obviously the guys dressed up nerdy =). They wanted fun smoky colors and by golly that is what they GOT!!!! Highlight Shadow

Today I am dealing with a huge loss...one of my make up cases has gone missing! Unfortunately, this case contained all of my favourite things as well as some new pieces I had recently bought...not to mention expensive pieces that I adored...Although, everything within the case can be purchased and replaced, the bag itself is irreplaceable and that is what upsets me the most. Luckily, I have this week off so I will off to the Eaton Centre tomorrow to replace all my wonderful and loved items. As for the case, I will be mourning its loss.

On to my original topic...highlight shadow!! Highlight shadow is wonderful because it can instantly make you glow. You can play with highlight shadow and apply it on areas which you want to draw attention too. You can try a dab of it on the centre of your lids , sweep it under the brow for a high arch look or place it on the inside corners of your eyes for a sparkling, eye-opening effect.

Highlight shades include pale frosty whites, champagne, vanilla, pearled pink, or light iridescent gold.

Look At Me Lashes!

Flash lashes are all the rage at the moment. Make Up For Ever has a range of fifty plus lashes for you to choose from. Whether you want a natural, dramatic or colorful and sparkly look, they have what you need. This line of flash lashes is only available at Sephora and every single time I have gone in to take a look at them they have been pretty low in stock because of their extreme popularity. The only advice that I have is to make sure that you have applied them properly so that you do not run the risk of having them fall out and also choose your lashes wisely.

If you are not the Make Up For Ever type of girl, try MAC’s line of flash lashes. They are just as fabulous.

Be Bold with Pink Lips!

On Monday as I was on my way home from a long day at work, I decided that I deserved a treat and encouraged myself to be bold. I walked into MAC and asked the guy at the counter, that I love by the way, he is fantastic and always such a huge help, to suggest a pink lipstick for me. I don’t usually wear lipstick, I am a total lip gloss girl, but I recently have been getting into it. Being the great help that my MAC man is he showed me a fabulous fuchsia lipstick called Girl About Town, which I love love love! He also pointed out some other shades that were great, which I have listed below. I have not rocked Girl About Town yet, but I think I will be adventurous and its great début will take place this weekend. Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener

A few weeks ago, I was talking to two of my best girlies and I mentioned that I was looking for an under eye brightener. One of the lovely ladies suggested a product that I can not get enough of! She told me that she had been using Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightening Cream and that it worked wonders. Ladies, let me tell you…it is FABULOUS! I love it! I use it when I have not gotten enough sleep and my under eye area needs a pick me up. It works so well. It gets rid of my dark circles and leaves me looking luminous and fresh. It is also great for nights out when you know that pictures will be taken and you need to look your best! This product is so fantastic and I know that it will be a staple in my make up bag for years to come…

Professional Platnium Natural Fan Brush

This brush is super handy and can be purchased at Sephora!! This is an item most people do not own, nor know the use of. For the longest time I was confused as to what this brush was good for. I have now learned its use and I am ready to share my knowledge with you ladies. This brush is considered to be a "mover" of make up rather than a brush used to blend or spread make up. It literally "fans" away excess make up without smudging. Use it for clean up or for removing eye make up fallout. Ladies, it is essential and needs to be added to your brush collection ASAP!

Too Faced - Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lip Gloss

I have never heard of this before, but so far I like it! Too Faced has released a limited edition emotionally activated lip gloss. This lip gloss is infused with Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Shea Butter. It works with body heat levels and changes to different shades of "Smurf - Berry Pink". This reminds me of the mood rings that I used to wear in elementary school that changed colour. I loved those things!! So far, this is a great replacement!

Great questions!!! To see what she asked, look at the comments under the last post. I LOVE the craft store brushes and recommend the Maxine's Mop 1/4" and the Mini Mop also from Maxine. The Mini Mop is PeRfEcT for doing shadow on the bottom lash line and the 1/4" is comparable to the MAC #239 brush. When going to the department store, I would ask any of the girls to do your makeup!!!! Try not to ask on Friday or the weekend when they might be busier or all of a sudden Prom has come to town =). It seems Kev and I always decide to finally go out to eat and prom is going on.....annoying =). Make sure to tell them what you want and more importantly what you do NOT want. If you know that too much color looks AWEFUL on you to close to your eyebrows then TELL them!!! If you want to try something crazy, bring in a picture. Sometimes they will try to not go too crazy so that you will like it and maybe they don't know that you are super adventurous and really did want something CRAZY!!! For the eyebrows, I went in with makeup done and really just had questions and asked her to show me the way to use the stencil. She took off what I had and did it for me...no charge!!! MAC girls are not commissions based but if one of them is helping you it is good etiquette to let them be the one to help you till you purchase. Try to choose someone who has makeup on that you actually like, maybe they could do that look on you. You can go with or without makeup because if they do your eyes then they can take whatever you have off. If you go to an actual MAC store, then you get your whole face done and you need to spend at least $50 for it.

MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Hello Kitty to bring all of us make - up lovers a limited edition line this February. I can't wait!!! I love Hello Kitty! It is so cute and playful and now that they are teaming up with MAC...the kid in me could not be happier!

I have such a love/hate relationship with MAC and their limited edition lines. Sometimes they have such amazing colours and I hate not being able to have them available to me all the time. Talika Eyelash Lipocils

Do you condition your hair everyday? If your answer is yes, than why not condition your lashes? Think about it, every single day we apply and remove mascara sometimes in a very harsh manner. Why not do something nice for your lashes? A few months ago I started searching for a product that would condition and enrich my lashes, and that is how I found Talika Eyelash Lipocils. This product is G R E A T! After a about three weeks of regular use I began to see a difference. My lashes were fuller and thicker. I was sold, and I think you will be as well when you try it.

For the first month or so, use it twice daily on clean lashes. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Make sure that the gel touches the skin at the roots of your lashes. Wait for about a minute and then you can apply mascara. This can double as a primer for your mascara. After the first month, you can begin to use it once a day. I love love love this product!!

ÔSCILLATION – Lancôme’s very first vibrating power mascara!

From the moment I read about this in the January issue of Elle Canada, I knew I had to try it. My first thought was where can I buy this and how quickly can I add it to my outrageously large collection of make – up. I totally have a problem, but its okay, you ladies reading this must be in the same boat….right?! Anyway, I made a quick phone call to Sephora and asked them to set one aside for me…yes, I am crazy, I put make – up on hold, don’t act like it’s such a bizarre thing to do. I have tried other Lancôme mascaras, which I will talk about in a little bit, and I have never been disappointed and in this case I certainly was not. Ôscillation claims that it provides 7000 oscillations per minute as well as superior length. Let me tell you ladies, Lancôme does not lie. I don’t think I have ever seen my lashes so long. They were so long that my mother asked me if I was wearing flash lashes. That to me means that Ôscillation has completed its job successfully. Not only did it lengthen my lashes, but it also separated them very well. So for you ladies that love length, I would highly recommend this mascara. It will set you back about $40, but it is well worth the price.

Now for you ladies that do not want to spend that much or if you could care less about whether or not your mascara wand vibrates you can try other Lancôme mascaras and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
