EMMA STONE: New Global Ambassador for REVLON

Revlon was the official sponsor of "The Help" UK Premiere held on Wednesday 5th October in London.
Starring Revlon’s new Global Ambassador Emma Stone as Skeeter, "The Help" tracks three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960’s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk.

"The Help" perfectly embodies Revlon’s longstanding values of empowering women, set in the 1960’s during an exciting and liberating era that saw women becoming increasingly confident and independent."We are thrilled to be part of the UK launch of the newly-announced Revlon Ambassador Emma Stone’s acclaimed film, ‘The Help.’ With an inspiring story of sisterhood and courage – and of course a bit of glamour – ‘The Help’ and Revlon are a perfect fit." A/W 2012 catwalks were full of 1960’s makeup references, becoming the hottest trend for beauty this season. The Makeup Look in ‘The Help’ is just as relevant today as it was back then, so choose the products and get the 1960’s look today:

Revlon Liquid Eyeliner in Black - 68 AED

For a fool proof 1960’s flick the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner is a flow through, felt tip liquid liner that gives controlled application and precise lines that wears for up to 16 hours, the must-have product for true 60’s style.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Sky Line Pink – 42 AED
Revlon’s iconic Super Lustrous Lipstick still personifies glamour with a mixture of timeless heritage shades and new seasonal updates. New for A/W and created by Gucci Westman, this pale pink shade is a fresh, modern take of the 60’s and is the perfect compliment to those feline liquid flicks.
Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara – 51 AED
The ultimate mascara for maximum volume that plumps lashes up to 200% instantly while it conditions and strengthens. The eyes played an important role during this decade so the more mascara and the blacker the pigment the better!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation – 75 AED

The original longwear foundation, providing the ultimate in comfort and beautiful longwearing results. An oil free formula that helps even out skin tone and texture for a smooth flawless finish. The 1960’s makeup look required perfect skin as a canvas to off set the dark eyes and pales lips

Emma Stone will star in her first advert for Revlon early in 2012 to promote the brand’s new and innovative launches.

UK Premiere of ‘The Help’
Last week Emma Stone, Revlon’s Global Brand Ambassador for 2012, walk the red carpet for the London premiere of US box office hit The Help, her latest offering for the big screen.

To compliment her stunning Luca Luca spring 2012 RTW floor-length evening gown, Emma chose an impactful Revlon makeup look that was all about a strong lip, demonstrating a playful twist on 1930's glamour.

For an unexpected update on the classic red lip, Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Coral gave a vivid shock of colour for instant modernity. Emma’s eyes were given a smoky grey finish using Revlon CustomEyes Palette in Smoky Sexy on both the upper and lower lids, then defined with a sweep of black Grow Luscious Lash Liner in Onyx on the upper lash line. For dramatic effect lashes were dressed with two coats of Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in Blackest Black and eyebrows elongated for a retro feel.

A sweep of Revlon Matte Powder Blush in Perfectly Peach on the tops of Emma’s cheekbones finished the look with a subtle warming effect.
